Braw Kilts A Year In Review:
What another fantastic year 2019 has been for Braw Kilts, This year again we saw us hit few big milestone on our Braw Kilts facebook page, On March 23rd we hit 3,000 likes which was truly amazing for us as we had never expected to ever reach a number like that when we first started the page but what really shocked us is that since then we have went on to hit 4,000 likes on 15th September and we have now passed 4,500. This is absolutely fantastic, THANK YOU.
Our kilts again have been worn all over the world and even at 10 downing street by the Fantastic Keith armour from Capital Sci Fi Con, Keith who runs the non for profit organisation was invited to speak to the prime minister about his points of light award and charity work, Which has seen him raise over £250,000 CHAS (Children’s Hospices across Scotland). Keep up the fantastic work Keith and we wish you all the best with your up and coming events.
We were also asked to make the first hand sewn kilts in the New Sherlock Holmes tartan for Lou Marshall and her son Rory on behalf of Tania Henzell (designer & producer of the tartan). Lou & Rory both wore their Braw Sherlock Holmes Tartan kilts as the lead the Children's Parliament procession down the Royal Mile From Edinburgh Castle to the Scottish Parliament to mark the celebration of 30 years of children’s rights as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
This year we had 4 couples that all tied the knot with their Grooms (and sometimes the best men) wearing their Braw Kilts with one of these couples weeding pictures being shared thousands of times around the world and even being picked up by the National Press for the choice of the location to have their wedding pictures taken. Congratulations to you all.
We would like to say a massive Thank You to everybody who has helped us along in our journey so far by liking, sharing and Following our posts and continue to support us on our social medias and to our customers who have purchased a kilt from us. This Year has really been fantastic and we can’t wait to see what 2020 has to offer and where our kilts may take us.
And One last big Thank You goes to Cathy our Kilt maker, who has personally hand sewn every single Braw Kilt this year. Thank You
